Mynder's Story
From idea to paying customers
The idea is born
The idea for Mynder was born at Haukeland University Hospital, where Synnøve spent several years developing new, innovative health services. Privacy and security were often a major challenge. One day it hit her: Why can we transfer money in seconds with Vipps – but not our own personal data? It's built on the same DNA – 1s and 0s.

The year AI agents truly began taking over work
AI agents move from answering questions to doing the work. They retrieve data, use systems and take action on behalf of the business.
Regulation follows. The EU AI Act is amended in 2026. Requirements for high-risk systems are postponed, while transparency and labelling requirements for AI-generated content remain. Businesses must be able to show how AI is used, not just claim it.
When agents do the work, compliance must follow the work. Mynder builds governance into the workflow: what agents are allowed to do, when a human must take over, and evidence of what actually happened.
Introducing Mynder Agents, which puts AI agents to work under mandate and documents every step.
The solution is being developed and tested in a demanding, regulated environment.
Mynder has partners in Norway and Sweden: IT companies that sell Mynder's risk management and compliance products to their customers.
The vision is the same as when we started: that everyone should own their own data. That includes the data agents use, the knowledge they build on and the traces they leave behind. We have never been closer.
Building trust in a digital world
Mynder develops AI-powered solutions for risk management, security, and compliance – for businesses that take responsibility for their own data.
Our mission
Our vision
If you own your data, you own your future.
Our values
We build technology with personality and our values set the tone. They are both the foundation and the spark in everything we create.
Playful
We use curiosity as a driving force and look for new ways to solve challenges. We believe there is room for play, creativity, and humor – even when working with serious topics.
Challenge
We dare to question the established. We challenge old ways of thinking about technology and privacy – because we know that change is necessary to create something better.
Generous
We share knowledge, lift others, and build with openness. We believe in collaboration over competition, and that generosity creates stronger solutions.
Trustworthy
We do what we say and stand by what we do. We build trust through honesty, responsibility, and technology that people can actually rely on.
